Who's that girl?

In a nutshell, I'm a higher ed passionista and cheerleader for education, community college advocate, social media connoisseur, a blogger, unashamed bookworm, Gmail addict, and career strategist.

By day, I plan and coordinate recruitment strategies as the director of recruitment at one of the best community colleges this side of the Appalachian, Harrisburg Area Community College. By night, I blog, teach others about the wonders of social media, and plan how to take my leap and start my own business, Boss Lady Personal Branding, Inc.which focuses on helping women who are small-business owners, young professionals, or those who are aspiring to be, proclaim, perform, and establish their professional brands (more info to come).

I've written for some pretty cool blogs like Strella Social Media, Brazen Life, The LI$T, Launching Lives, and The EvoLLLution on a host of topics such as higher education, college advice, personal branding, professional  curiosity, and career strategies.  

I hold an associate degree in theatre arts from Harrisburg Area Community College, a bachelor's in English with a minor in Print Media Studies from Millersville University, and a master's degree in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania. 

My blog, Give Me a C!, is about my journey from being a pipsqueak student affairs grad student to a mature higher education professional. It's the melting pot where I've stewed all of my loves for social media, higher education, professional development, and travel together and am doling out bowls of five-star gourmet career strategies to help you make your dreams become your reality. I'm still learning and growing and I'm hoping that those who read this blog will enjoy the ride with me as I blog my way through my hopes, dreams, failures, lessons learned, opinions, and successes.
